Starter Pack for Cardboard Construction

The Starter 036 pack contains 36 reusable Scru and Scru+ connectors designed for children aged four and above. It suits home play, classroom STEM activities and small-group maker projects. The kit works with any scrap cardboard to create structures that can be taken apart and rebuilt repeatedly. No batteries or electronic components are included.

Tools Included for Build and Deconstruction

A Safe-Saw with rounded teeth cuts cardboard without sharp edges, while the Fold-Roller perforates fold lines for clean shaping. The Scru-Driver and Mini-Tool tighten and release both connector types using a simple righty-tighty action. All tools are sized for small hands and require no external power or additional hardware to operate.

Connectors Handle Up to Five Cardboard Layers

Standard Scru join up to three layers and Scru+ join up to five layers of typical corrugated cardboard. Both types release in a few turns so materials stay intact for reuse. The package measures 10.5 by 7.4 by 2.8 centimetres and contains no moving parts that generate heat, noise or power draw during normal use.
