Continuous Solar Power Supply

The StartVision 6W Solar Panel delivers a 3.5W 5V charge to keep rechargeable battery security cameras powered throughout daylight hours. It removes the need to repeatedly take the camera down for manual recharging. The white panel measures 6.7 in by 1.85 in by 9.0 in and weighs .531 kilograms. It is built for outdoor surveillance setups that need a steady trickle charge.

Dual Connector and Flexible Placement

A Micro USB port and a USB-C port provide compatibility with most 5V rechargeable battery cameras, though plug-in cameras are not supported. The 9.8ft cable lets you position the panel where sunlight is strongest while the camera stays mounted in its required viewing spot. An included 360° adjustable wall mount with screws secures the panel at the optimal angle for maximum exposure.

IP65 Weatherproof Durability

The IP65 rating protects the panel against rain, snow and harsh outdoor conditions for year-round operation in yards, garages, gardens or porches. It comfortably handles continuous daylight charging for a single compatible camera. The fixed 3.5W output means it cannot support multiple cameras or high-draw devices, and it provides no power during night hours.

Questions about this item

What happens when the 3.5 W panel cannot keep up with the camera's daily draw?

The camera will draw from its internal battery once sunlight drops below what the 3.5 W panel can supply.

Does the IP65-rated panel run hot or make noise during all-day outdoor exposure?

The panel has no moving parts and operates silently; its surface warms in direct sun but stays within normal outdoor temperatures.

Which camera-side connector must my rechargeable battery camera already have to use the dual Micro USB and USB-C cable?

Your camera needs either a Micro USB or a USB-C charging port that accepts 5 V input.
