A compact mount that rotates 360 degrees and tilts 220 degrees to position a trail camera with a 1/4-inch x 20mm thread
The HME Economy Trail Camera Holder fits any trail camera that uses a standard 1/4-inch x 20mm threaded insert. It mounts on a tree and lets you rotate the camera a full 360 degrees to face the exact area you want to monitor. A locking knob then secures the camera against the mount so the angle cannot shift. The low-profile design keeps the setup discreet in the field.
The holder uses manual wing nuts and a locking knob rather than motors or electronic actuators, so it produces no operating noise and draws no power. Once the 360-degree rotation and 220-degree vertical tilt are set and tightened, the position remains fixed without any energy consumption. There are no fans, pumps or electronic components to generate heat or sound during use.
This mount replaces basic straps or brackets that only point the camera in a single fixed direction. The upgrade is worth it when you need to aim the camera up, down or around obstacles without remounting the whole unit. It is not suited for users who require remote pan-and-tilt control or automated tracking features.

Mount the holder to the tree, screw the camera onto the 1/4-inch x 20mm threaded end, rotate to the desired angle using the 360-degree rotation, tighten the camera-locking knob against the camera base, then adjust the 220-degree vertical pivot with the 3/8-inch wing nut and re-tighten.
Periodically check both the camera-locking knob and the 3/8-inch wing nut for tightness, as vibration and weather cycling can loosen them; re-tighten by hand to maintain the set position.
The vertical adjustment provides 220 degrees of pivot; the mechanical stop is reached at that limit, preventing further tilt.
