Compact 60% Optical Keyboard

The SteelSeries Apex 9 Mini is a 60% wired keyboard built around OptiPoint optical switches with a 0.2 ms response time. It has 61 keys, doubleshot PBT keycaps and an aluminum alloy frame. The compact layout saves desk space while keeping full functions through side-printed layers. Hot-swappable sockets let you change switches without soldering.

USB-C Port and OS Support

Your system needs a free USB-C port or an adapter for the detachable cable. Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and Mac OS X are supported, though not all software features work on Mac. No palm rest, stickers or manuals are included in the package. Check that a 60% layout matches your workflow before ordering.

Low-Profile Thermals and Power

The keyboard draws power directly from the USB connection with no external supply needed. Optical switches produce no mechanical click and run cool during extended sessions. The aluminum frame helps dissipate the minimal heat generated. Acoustic output stays low, making it suitable for shared or quiet environments.
