2.4 GHz Wireless Latency and Battery Limits

The 2.4 GHz connection is designed for low wireless latency during gaming. Battery life reaches 30 hours on a full charge. USB-C fast charging provides 3 hours of playtime after a 15 minute charge. Audio performance is bounded by a 20 to 20,000 Hz frequency response, 98 dBSPL sensitivity and 32 ohm impedance.

40 mm Drivers and Retractable Microphone

Neodymium 40 mm drivers deliver the sound. The bi-directional microphone has a 100 to 6500 Hz frequency response, -38 dBV/Pa sensitivity and 2200 ohm impedance. Questions about this item

Should I pick the 7X+ over another headset just for the 30-hour battery life?

The 30-hour rating comes from a single charge on the 2.4 GHz link. Fast charging adds three hours of play after only 15 minutes plugged in, so long sessions stay covered.

How does the 98 dBSPL sensitivity affect volume on my Xbox Series X?

At 32 ohms and 98 dBSPL the drivers reach loud levels directly from the USB-C dongle without needing extra amplification.

What does the 2.4 GHz wireless link actually limit compared with a wired connection?

The 2.4 GHz dongle delivers lossless audio with low latency, while the bidirectional microphone operates within a 100-6500 Hz range and -38 dBV/Pa sensitivity.
