Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gen 2 Headset

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gen 2 is a multi-platform gaming headset built for players who want one device across PC, PlayStation, Switch and mobile. It connects via a USB-C 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth simultaneously. A USB-A adapter is included for broader compatibility. The headset targets gamers who value flexible connectivity and app-driven audio control.

Sustained Wireless Performance

The headset delivers over 50 hours of battery life on a single charge, representing a 40 percent increase over the prior model. A 15 minute fast charge via USB-C provides six hours of playtime. Simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth operation lets you mix game audio with mobile calls or music without switching modes. The ClearCast Gen 2 microphone reduces background noise by up to 25 dB for consistent voice clarity during long sessions.

Upgrade Path and Fit

This Gen 2 model replaces the original Arctis Nova 7 Wireless with longer battery life, real-time app EQ control and 200 plus game-specific presets. The jump is worth it for owners of the first generation who want faster charging and per-channel volume mixing. Buyers who need wired-only connectivity or a lighter frame without the steel headband should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How long can I game before the 50-hour battery needs a recharge during all-day sessions?

The headset delivers over 50 hours of play on a full charge, and a quick 15-minute USB-C top-up adds roughly 6 hours of runtime.

What must I already own to use the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle with my PC or console?

A free USB-C port is required for the dongle; a USB-A adapter is included if your device only has Type-A sockets.

Will the headset’s ClearCast Gen 2 microphone still suppress keyboard clicks if I keep my older mechanical keyboard?

Yes — the mic reduces background noise by up to 25 dB, so keyboard clicks and fan hum are attenuated while your voice stays clear.
