Legendary Micro-Woven Cloth Surface

The SteelSeries QcK Large 63003 mouse pad uses a proprietary micro-woven cloth surface that delivers consistent glide for optical and laser sensors. Over ten million units have been sold, establishing it as a standard among competitive players. Its black finish measures 490 mm by 420 mm with a 2 mm thickness.

Competitive Gamers Needing Stable Tracking

The non-slip rubber base prevents unwanted movement during fast swipes, making it suitable for FPS, MOBA, RTS and MMO titles. The washable construction allows easy cleaning after long sessions. Buyers who want a hard surface or a desk-sized pad covering the keyboard should look elsewhere.

490 mm x 420 mm Desktop Coverage

The Large size provides ample room for low-sensitivity mouse sweeps without running off the edge. It accommodates a mouse and keyboard side by side but does not extend across a full desktop like the 3XL variant. The 2 mm profile keeps the pad low while maintaining stability.

Questions about this item

Does the 490 mm by 420 mm cloth surface need a specific sensor type to work properly?

The micro-woven cloth is optimised for both optical and laser sensors, so any modern gaming mouse will track accurately.

Will the 2 mm thick rubber base stay flat on a desk that already has a textured vinyl mat?

The non-slip rubber base grips smooth desks; on a textured vinyl mat it may shift slightly, so place it directly on the desk for best stability.

How can I verify the surface is still giving pinpoint accuracy after a few months of use?

Run a quick sensor test in your mouse software — consistent tracking without jitter or spin-out confirms the cloth is performing as intended.
