Medium RGB cloth surface

The SteelSeries QcK Medium RGB Prism is a cloth mouse pad built for gamers who want a consistent glide across a mid-sized desktop area. Its micro-woven texture is engineered for both optical and laser sensors, while the rubber base keeps the pad fixed during rapid movements. Perimeter RGB lighting adds visual flair without affecting tracking performance.

SteelSeries Engine RGB control

The bundled SteelSeries Engine software lets you customise lighting zones, effects and colours across the prism strip. Settings are saved to the pad so they persist when you move between systems. No additional drivers are required beyond the application, and the illumination draws power from a standard USB connection.

Medium footprint with full-sensor tracking

The medium dimensions give enough room for low-sensitivity sweeps and keyboard placement without covering an entire desk. The cloth surface supports precise control for competitive shooters and MOBA titles alike. Users needing extended desk coverage or a hard hybrid surface will find the size and material limiting.

Questions about this item

How often will the micro-woven cloth surface need replacing from mouse friction?

The micro-woven cloth is engineered for long-term durability and maintains tracking performance for both optical and laser sensors without a specified replacement interval.

What limits continuous use of the RGB lighting zones on the pad?

RGB illumination is powered via USB and controlled through SteelSeries Engine software, so the practical limit is the available USB port power and software stability during extended sessions.

Does the pad generate noticeable heat or fan noise when the RGB runs all day?

The pad has no active cooling or moving parts, so it produces no fan noise and negligible heat from the RGB LEDs during all-day operation.
