STEINER 2119Y-M Welding Gloves

These gloves are personal protective equipment built for stick welding applications. They come as a single pair in size medium and a brown colourway, designed to fit both left and right hands. The 14 in length provides extended forearm coverage during work.

Sustained heat and abrasion resistance

Cowhide leather on the palm and back resists the prolonged heat, spatter and mechanical wear typical of stick welding sessions. The wing thumb and Gunn cut pattern maintain dexterity and comfort when the gloves are worn for long periods. Slip-on cuffs allow quick removal if overheating occurs.

Check fit and chemical warnings

Verify that a size medium Gunn cut suits your hand dimensions before ordering. The product carries California Proposition 65 warnings for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Ensure your workflow can accommodate the required safety precautions.

Questions about this item

How much heat protection do the 14 in cowhide gloves give during long stick-welding sessions?

The 14 in length and cowhide palm and back shield hands and lower forearms from spatter and radiant heat typical of stick welding.

What equipment must I already have to use these gloves safely?

You need a stick welder, electrode holder, work clamp, and suitable workpiece; the gloves protect the operator only.

Will these medium Gunn-cut gloves fit over the liners I already wear in cold weather?

The Gunn cut and wing thumb allow room for thin liners, but thick liners may reduce dexterity.
