Industrial welding barrier

The STEINER 333-6X8 welding curtain spans 6 ft high by 8 ft wide to block spatter, UV glare and fumes in fabrication shops and training bays. Green tinted vinyl lets supervisors monitor work while protecting bystanders. Flame-resistant coating meets California Fire Marshal approval for hot-work zones.

Temperature and mounting limits

Vinyl withstands 150 F continuous exposure before degradation begins. Grommets spaced 12 in apart require matching hooks or rope ties on that same interval; wider spacing will sag the 13 oz material. Curtain is not rated for direct flame contact or temperatures above the stated maximum.

Daily handling traits

At 0.36 mm thick the sheet resists mildew and water so it can stay hung through humid shifts or outdoor coverage. Grommeted edges take standard curtain track or chain without tearing. Green vinyl scratches visibly over time but maintains opacity and flame resistance through repeated cleaning.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 6 ft x 8 ft green vinyl curtain and other sizes or colours?

This model is only offered in a single 6 ft high by 8 ft wide green vinyl sheet weighing 13 oz per square yard and 0.36 mm thick with 12 in grommet spacing.

What does the 150 °F flame-resistant rating mean when the curtain is hung in a welding bay?

The curtain meets California Fire Marshal approval and resists flame, mildew and water up to a continuous 150 °F exposure.

How do the 12 in grommets and vinyl construction affect installation and durability?

Brass grommets every 12 inches allow quick hanging on rods or cable; the 13 oz vinyl with 0.36 mm thickness resists tearing, UV and splatter while staying flexible.
