STEINER 338-6X6 Welding Curtain

The STEINER 338-6X6 is a 6 ft by 6 ft transparent vinyl screen designed for welding stations. It weighs 13 oz per square yard and measures 0.36 mm thick with grommets spaced 12 inches apart. The orange material is flame, mildew and water resistant.

Welding Bay Enclosures

This curtain suits workshops that need a fixed barrier around a welding cell. Buyers who require a darker shade to reduce glare or a larger enclosure for robotic cells should look at alternative products. The California Fire Marshal approval supports compliance in regulated environments.

150 °F Maximum Temperature Rating

The vinyl withstands continuous exposure up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit, which determines whether it survives the heat load of a specific process. Operations generating higher ambient temperatures need a different barrier material.

Questions about this item

When will the 13 oz vinyl curtain need replacement?

The 13 oz vinyl material resists flame, mildew and water; replace it when tears, heavy soiling or UV degradation compromise the protective barrier.

What is the first limit reached during sustained high-temperature use?

The curtain is rated to a maximum temperature of 150 °F; exceeding this limit will cause the vinyl to degrade before any other property fails.

How much heat does the curtain add to the workspace when used all day?

The curtain itself generates no heat; it simply blocks spatter and UV up to its 150 °F rating while remaining flame resistant.
