25-quart clear storage tote

The Sterilite Shelf Tote holds 25 quarts or 6.3 gallons of gear in a clear plastic body with a gray lid. Its inside floor measures 15 1/2 by 12 7/8 inches, giving a flat base for tools or seasonal items. The lid snaps on to keep dust and moisture out.

Stackable capacity and headroom

At 7 3/4 inches tall the tote fits on standard shelving and stacks securely when empty or full. The 19 7/8-inch length uses shelf depth efficiently while the clear walls let you spot contents without opening the lid. Volume runs out at 6.3 gallons, so bulkier loads need a larger bin.

Replaces loose boxes and open crates

Swapping cardboard boxes for this tote adds a water-resistant seal and uniform stacking. The jump is worth it when you want consistent dimensions, quick visual inventory, and a lid that stays attached during moves.

Questions about this item

Will the 19 7/8 in length and 15 1/2 in width of the 25 quart tote fit on my existing 12 in deep shelves?

The tote is 15 1/2 in wide, so it overhangs a 12 in deep shelf by about 3 1/2 in; consider deeper shelving or placing the tote perpendicular if the shelf allows.

How can I confirm the tote and its gray lid seal well enough for outdoor storage?

After closing the lid, press around the perimeter — the clear body and gray lid should sit flush with no visible gaps, and a gentle lift on the lid edges should meet firm resistance from the rim.

Does the 25 quart clear tote with gray lid come with the lid included, or must I buy it separately?

The lid is included in the box; no separate purchase is needed.
