Jeep-Specific 12.8-Inch Infotainment System

The STINGER SRX-JW18128 is a new multimedia receiver built exclusively for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models. It combines a 12.8-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen with factory-style integration in a single chassis. The unit targets owners who want modern smartphone connectivity without losing original vehicle functions. It is not for buyers who need a universal fit for other makes or a smaller screen size.

IP65-Rated Optically Bonded Display

The decisive specification is the 12.8-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen that carries an IP65 rating and optical bonding for moisture and dust resistance. Anti-glare, anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint films protect the 16:9 panel during open-top driving. This construction determines whether the screen survives the environment the Jeep is used in. Buyers who require a higher pixel density or a different aspect ratio cannot be served by this panel.

Plug-and-Play Harness With Full Feature Retention

Installation uses a vehicle-specific plug-and-play wire harness and included dash kit to replicate a factory appearance. The system retains steering-wheel controls, factory amplifiers, USB ports, heated-seat functions, safety chimes and all original cameras in high definition. Climate controls and vehicle settings appear on-screen for both dual-zone and manual systems. The main risk is overlooking a trim-specific sub-harness; verify the exact model year and equipment level before starting.
