Wired headset for 3.5 mm devices

The STM stm-936-515Y-01 is a circumaural headset that connects through a single 3.5 mm plug for stereo audio and microphone signals. It is built for students, office workers and anyone who needs a lightweight wired option for daily calls or media playback.

Durable cable and drop-tested build

A 4 mm braided nylon cord resists tangling and survives regular handling, while the assembly has been tested to withstand a 6.6 ft drop onto a hard surface. The fixed mini boom microphone stays in position without a moving joint that can loosen over time.

Simple plug-in setup with inline volume

Connect the 3.5 mm jack to any compatible port and adjust level directly on the cable control — no software or battery required. The non-detachable cable means a damaged cord cannot be swapped, so users who need a replaceable lead should consider a different design.

Questions about this item

Does the 5.9 oz weight or circumaural pads cause heat buildup during all-day use?

At 5.9 oz the headset is lightweight and the padded circumaural ear pieces are designed for comfort during extended listening sessions.

What device connection do I need already to use the 3.5mm plug?

You need a device with a 3.5mm audio jack; the headset is wired and has no wireless capability or embedded battery.

Will the fixed mini boom microphone and inline volume control work with an older laptop that has separate mic and headphone jacks?

The headset uses a single 3.5mm connector, so it requires a combined headset jack or a splitter adapter for separate mic and headphone ports.
