Portable file storage with drawer

The Storex 61523U01C is a portable file box designed to hold letter-size documents. A removable bottom drawer gives quick access to supplies without disturbing the main compartment. A locking latch keeps the lid secure during transport. The plastic construction protects contents from dust and damage.

Who this suits and who it does not

It suits anyone who needs a single, lockable box for active letter-size files and a separate drawer for small office items. It is not for users who need hanging-rail suspension, fire-rated protection, or capacity for legal or A4 folders.

Deciding specification

The defining spec is the built-in bottom drawer combined with a locking latch. If you need that drawer-latch combination in a letter-size box, this model matches; if you only need a plain lidded tote, a simpler box will do.

Questions about this item

What size hanging file folders fit the Storex 61523U01C letter file box?

This box is built for standard letter-size hanging folders, so any letter-format folders you already use will slide straight onto the rails.

Can I stack the Storex 61523U01C on top of older Storex archive boxes?

The flat, reinforced lid with its locking latch is designed to bear the weight of another identical box, so it stacks cleanly on matching Storex units.

How do I know the latch and drawer are working correctly after I set it up?

Close the lid until the latch clicks shut — it should hold firm when you lift by the handle — then pull the bottom drawer out fully; it must glide smoothly and stay on its tracks.
