Storex Interlocking Book Bins 5-Pack

Organize classroom or office libraries with this set of five Storex STX70105U06C bins. Each unit is made from sturdy drop-resistant plastic and features an open design for easy access to books magazines and folders. The 14.3 inch deep interior accommodates larger volumes and letter-sized files. Assorted colors help categorize materials at a glance.

Who benefits and who should look elsewhere

Teachers librarians and office managers needing stable modular storage for books catalogs and reference materials will appreciate the interlocking sides and integrated label pockets. Front and rear handles simplify relocation between shelves or desks. Buyers requiring enclosed containers lids or waterproof protection should consider other storage solutions.

Behaviour under sustained daily use

The drop-resistant plastic construction withstands repeated handling and fully loaded stacking without cracking. Interlocking sides maintain a rigid row even when bins are shifted or transported via the built-in handles. Label pockets stay legible through frequent reorganization. The open-top design ensures constant airflow preventing moisture buildup during long-term storage.

Questions about this item

Do the 14.3-inch deep bins require a shelf at least that deep to sit flat?

Yes, each bin measures 14.3 inches front to back, so the shelf or surface must be at least that deep for the bin to rest fully supported.

Can the interlocking sides connect to Storex bins I already own that are a different width?

The interlocking mechanism works side-to-side on these 5.31-inch wide bins; other Storex models with the same side profile will connect, but a different width usually means a different profile.

How can I confirm the five assorted-color bins lock together securely after assembly?

Press the bins side by side until the ribs click into the matching grooves; a firm tug on any single bin should not separate it from the group.
