Insect-Repellent Trash Bags 55 Gal

These black bags hold 55 gallons and measure 37 by 52 inches with a 2 mil thickness. They use a natural citronella-based repellent to deter flying pests from receptacles. The DEET-free formula makes them safe for food handling establishments. Each box contains 65 liners for high-volume needs.

Easy Dispensing and Strong Seams

The flat-pack box allows quick single-bag removal without wrestling a roll. Reinforced seams resist splitting when the bag is lifted from the can. Overfilling beyond the 55-gallon mark is the most common cause of tears at the bottom seal. Sharp objects should be wrapped before disposal to preserve puncture resistance.

Consistent Performance Under Daily Load

The 2 mil film maintains integrity across repeated heavy lifts in busy breakrooms. Citronella scent remains effective through the fill cycle without fading after a few hours. Bags do not stretch excessively when left overnight at capacity. They suit operations that fill and replace liners multiple times per shift.

Questions about this item

How do I know the citronella repellent is active after I put the bag in the can?

The bag uses a natural citronella-based formula; you should notice a mild citronella scent when the liner is opened and fewer flying insects around the receptacle during use.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy ties or a dispenser separately?

The carton contains 65 black 37-by-52-inch liners; no draw-tape ties or dispenser are included, so purchase those separately if required.

Which capacity should I choose for a standard 55-gallon drum?

The 55-gallon, 2-mil, 37-by-52-inch size is made for that drum; select this version for a proper fit.
