Industrial headlamp for hands-free tasks

This Streamlight 61424 headlamp delivers 235 lumens from an LED source rated for 50,000 hours of lamp life. It runs on three included AAA alkaline batteries and offers high, medium and low output modes. The dual beam provides both spot and flood patterns for close work and distance viewing.

235 lumen maximum output decides suitability

At 235 lumens on the high setting the light runs for 4.8 hours, while medium and low settings each provide 160 lumens for 5 hours. This output range of 100 to 249 lumens fits general industrial inspection and maintenance but will not satisfy users who need higher intensity for large-area illumination.

Included AAA alkaline cells enable immediate use

Three AAA batteries are supplied in the box so the headlamp works straight away without a separate purchase. Because the unit is not rechargeable, depleted cells must be replaced with fresh alkaline batteries to restore operation.

Questions about this item

What does the 235-lumen maximum output mean when I am wearing the headlamp on a job site?

The 235-lumen high setting delivers a combined spot and flood beam for 4.8 hours on three included AAA alkaline batteries, giving you both distance and area light for industrial tasks.

How does the dual beam type affect what I can see compared with a single-beam light?

The fixed spot-and-flood combination lets you illuminate a work area at your feet while still throwing a focused beam ahead, without needing to switch modes or adjust the head.

What physical space does the three-AAA battery pack need on the headband?

The headlamp runs on three AAA alkaline cells housed in the unit itself, so the entire power supply sits on the front of the band with no separate rear battery box to balance.
