Studio Condenser Kit

The SUIUBUY BM-800 bundle delivers a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone in Cubano Gold finish, aimed at home-studio vocalists, podcasters and streamers who want a complete recording package. It includes a scissor-arm stand, metal shock mount, double-layer pop filter, foam wind cap, power cable and a sound card for direct computer connection.

Low-Noise Operation

Self-noise measures 16 dB-A while maximum SPL reaches 132 dB at one percent THD, giving clean headroom for loud sources without audible hiss. The 78 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 200 ohm output impedance keep distortion low during typical voice or instrument sessions. A 2.5 m XLR cable supplies the balanced connection to the included sound card.

Accessory Impact

The adjustable scissor arm lets you position the 160 mm long, 50 mm diameter microphone without desk clutter, while the metal shock mount isolates it from stand vibrations. The double-layer pop filter and foam cap together suppress plosives and wind noise, and the bundled sound card provides the necessary phantom power and analogue-to-digital conversion for immediate recording.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the BM-800’s XLR plug and which step is often missed?

Run the 2.5 m XLR cable to an audio interface that supplies phantom power, then switch that phantom power on — the capsule will not work without it.

Which part of the bundle will need replacement first?

The foam windscreen and the double-layer pop filter are the only consumables; replace them when they become dirty or lose shape.

At what sound-pressure level does the BM-800 start to distort?

The spec lists 132 dB SPL at 1 kHz for 1 % THD, so very loud sources such as close-miked drums will clip first.
