The PLA base keeps printing straightforward for beginners while still satisfying experienced users. No special hardware is required beyond a standard FDM printer.

Neat-wound spool and standard dimensions

The spool measures 8.00 inches in diameter, 2.50 inches wide and has a 2.20 inch hub hole, so it fits most printer spool holders. A self-developed winding process claims a 100 percent neat rate, reducing tangles and jams during long prints. Consistent dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm helps maintain steady extrusion. The wood colour is achieved through pigment rather than filler, avoiding nozzle wear.

Practical limits of standard PLA

Recommended nozzle temperature is 200 to 230 °C and bed temperature 50 to 65 °C, with print speeds of 50 to 100 mm/s. Like all unmodified PLA, the material softens well below 100 °C, so printed parts are unsuitable for high-heat environments. Layer adhesion is strong but the filament remains brittle compared to PETG or ABS. Users needing functional heat resistance or impact strength should consider other polymers.
