Four-port 3.3 V PCI ISDN BRI card with a 128-channel hardware echo-cancellation module for Asterisk telephony servers
The TE410 3.3V PCI card provides four ISDN BRI ports and includes a VPMOCT128 hardware echo cancellation module. It is designed for telephony servers running Asterisk or similar IP-PBX software that require low-latency voice processing across multiple digital lines. The card targets system integrators building custom VoIP gateways or legacy PBX migration projects.
The card operates only in a 3.3 V PCI slot, which is typically found on newer motherboards and in 64-bit PCI bus architectures. It supports E1, T1 and J1 signalling selectable per card or per port, enabling translation between different line standards. I/O speed improvements of up to 10 times reduce CPU load and allow higher card density per server.
Installation requires a motherboard with a 3.3 V PCI slot; 5 V-only slots will not work and may damage the card. The VPMOCT128 module must be seated firmly on the main board before insertion. Common issues include missing kernel modules, incorrect interrupt assignment and signalling mismatches between E1, T1 and J1 modes on individual ports.
