  • 35 A rating suits compact HD media-player cooling needs

Compact blower for tight chassis

The SunnyStar TYF350LJ04 is a 70 mm blower-style fan designed for confined spaces such as small-form-factor cases, projectors or HD media players. Its radial exhaust pushes air across heatsinks or through narrow ducts where axial fans cannot fit. The unit draws 12 V at 0.35 A for 4.2 W of rated power.

Three-pin header with tachometer feedback

The 3-pin connector supplies power, ground and a speed signal so the host can monitor rotation. No PWM wire is present, so voltage control is the only way to vary speed. Ball bearings support continuous operation in the 7025 form factor.

Limited to voltage regulation and radial airflow

Without a fourth PWM pin the fan cannot accept digital duty-cycle commands from modern motherboard headers. The blower geometry suits directed cooling but moves less free air than an axial design of the same footprint. Buyers needing PWM control or higher static pressure in open layouts should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the ball bearing in this 70mm blower need replacement?

The ball bearing is rated for continuous operation; typical service intervals extend to several years under normal case temperatures.

What thermal limit appears first when the fan runs at 4.2W continuously?

The 12V 0.35A motor reaches its steady-state temperature before the ball bearing or frame shows stress.

How much noise and heat does the 3-pin blower produce during all-day use?

At 4.2W the blower emits a low hum and modest warmth; the 70mm frame dissipates heat without becoming hot to touch.
