Sunpentown SZB-22 44-lb Flake Ice Maker Stainless Steel

Freestanding 44-lb flake ice maker

The Sunpentown SZB-22 produces up to 44 lbs of flake ice per day and stores up to 11 lbs in its insulated bin. Fully automatic operation includes auto shut-off when the bin reaches capacity. Full stainless steel housing suits commercial or residential settings with front and side ventilation. Adjustable leveling legs simplify placement on uneven floors.

Check water supply and drainage before ordering

Installation by a licensed plumber is required for the inline water filter and gravity drain hose. Filtered or purified water is recommended for unit longevity; otherwise cleaning with citric acid every other week is necessary. Verify that your location can accommodate a gravity drain and a dedicated water line with the supplied filter kit. The unit is not a freezer and stored ice may melt over time.

Fits freestanding builds with ventilation clearance

Front and side ventilation means the appliance needs open airflow on those faces, not a sealed cabinet cut-out. The gravity drain requires a floor drain or lower outlet nearby. The included inline filter (model Filter-22-42) mounts inline on the supply line and can be replaced separately. The package supplies the filter, ice scoop, water hose and drain hose for a complete install.
