Studio headphones for monitoring

The Superlux HD-681 is a professional semi-open headphone designed for studio monitoring. Neodymium drivers deliver accurate sound reproduction for critical listening tasks. The open-backed architecture provides a natural soundstage suited to mixing and mastering work. These headphones target audio engineers and home-studio producers who need transparent reference audio.

Thermals noise and power draw

Passive operation means the headphones generate no heat and require no external power supply. Acoustic output is limited to the audio signal itself, so there is no fan noise or electrical hum. The semi-open design allows some sound to escape, which is normal for reference monitoring. Users seeking complete isolation or active noise cancellation should consider closed-back alternatives.
