Barebone edge server for single AMD Ryzen 7000 or 9000 CPU with four DDR5 slots up to 192 GB, PCIe 5.0 x16, dual 1 GbE LAN, IPMI 2.0 KVM and 500 W Platinum PSU
The Supermicro AS-1015A-MT is a 1U barebone platform designed for edge workloads. It accepts a single AMD EPYC 4004 or 4005 processor, or a Ryzen 7000 or 9000 series CPU up to 170W TDP. Four DDR5 UDIMM slots support ECC or non-ECC memory at 5200 MT/s up to 192GB total. A 500W Platinum-certified power supply is included.
This chassis fits builders who need one PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height slot and dual 1GbE Intel I210-AT ports with a dedicated IPMI 2.0 KVM LAN. It is not for buyers who want more storage bays than the barebone provides, teams needing dual-processor capacity, or anyone requiring 10GbE or 25GbE networking on board.
Mounting uses common 1U rails and the fixed 500W supply removes PSU cabling work. The four UDIMM slots are front-accessible after the top cover is removed. What usually goes wrong is exceeding the 170W CPU limit or populating memory faster than DDR5-5200, which the platform does not support.
