8U barebone server supporting eight GPUs with NVLink and NVSwitch, 24 DDR5 DIMM slots, 12 hot-swap NVMe bays, 2 hot-swap SATA bays, and eight PCIe 5.0 slots
The Supermicro AS-8125GS-TNHR is an 8U barebones system built for NVIDIA HGX H100 and H200 8-GPU configurations. It delivers maximum GPU-to-GPU bandwidth through NVLink and NVSwitch interconnects. Eight network interfaces provide a 1:1 GPU ratio for direct RDMA transfers. Twenty-four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 6TB of 4800MT/s ECC memory.
This platform targets organisations deploying dense GPU compute for deep learning and high-performance workloads. It fits racks that can supply the power and cooling an 8-GPU HGX baseboard demands. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or fewer GPU slots should evaluate alternative form factors. Teams without specialised rack infrastructure will find deployment impractical.
Twelve 2.5-inch NVMe drive bays provide high-throughput local storage directly accessible to the GPU complex. Two additional 2.5-inch SATA bays handle boot or auxiliary volumes. Four optional NVMe bays can be added for expanded capacity. Eight PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile and four full-height slots complete the I/O expansion.

The 8U chassis, motherboard, power supplies and cooling for the NVIDIA HGX H100/H200 8-GPU platform are included; you must add DDR5 memory modules, NVMe and SATA drives, GPU baseboards and any networking cards.
Both H100 and H200 are supported on the same HGX baseboard; select H200 when you need the larger HBM3e memory capacity for bigger models, otherwise H100 covers the same 8-GPU NVLink and NVSwitch topology.
With 24 slots populated you can reach up to 6 TB of ECC LRDIMM or RDIMM running at 4800 MT/s, giving maximum bandwidth for the 8-GPU HGX H100/H200 platform.
