LGA3647 passive 1U heat sink

The Supermicro SNK-P0067PD is a passive CPU cooler built for the LGA3647 socket. It fits a 1U form factor and measures 4.33 inches in width. The design targets server integrators who need silent, fanless thermal management on compatible Supermicro X11 Purley platform motherboards. No moving parts means reduced maintenance in dense rack environments.

Suited for fanless 1U server builds

This cooler suits administrators deploying compatible processors in 1U chassis where active airflow is limited or unwanted. It is not intended for builders who require active cooling for higher thermal loads or for systems using sockets other than LGA3647. Buyers needing a fan-assisted solution or a different mounting pattern should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SNK-P0067PD 1U passive heat sink onto an LGA3647 socket, and what step is often missed?

Align the four captive mounting screws with the socket's retention frame, then tighten them in a diagonal pattern to ensure even pressure; the step often missed is confirming all four screws are fully seated before powering on.

What maintenance or replacement will this passive heat sink need over time?

As a fanless design it has no moving parts to replace; periodically remove dust from the fin stack with compressed air and reapply thermal paste if the CPU is reseated or temperatures rise.
