1U rack server with dual 12-core Xeon E5-2650 v4 CPUs at 2.2 GHz, 256 GB DDR4 ECC memory, LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller, four 3.5" hot-plug bays, quad 10GBase-T ports, IPMI 2.0.
The Supermicro SYS-6018U-TR4T+ is a 1U rackmount server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4 12-core processors running at 2.2 GHz. It arrives with 256 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across eight 32 GB modules and a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache. Four hot-plug 3.5-inch drive bays support SATA and SAS drives, while quad 10GBase-T ports and a dedicated IPMI 2.0 interface handle networking and remote management. Dual 750 W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power.
This system targets environments that need dense multi-threaded performance in a single rack unit, such as virtualization hosts, HPC nodes or private-cloud infrastructure. The 24 DIMM slots and dual-socket design allow memory-heavy workloads to scale within the same chassis. Buyers who require more than four 3.5-inch drive bays or need front bezel and rack rails included should look elsewhere. GPU-dependent workloads are not a fit given the Matrox G200 graphics with 8 MB video memory.
The single specification that decides fit is the storage bay count and interface: exactly four 3.5-inch hot-plug bays wired for SATA and SAS drives behind the MegaRAID 9361-8i controller. No 2.5-inch bays or additional drive cages are present in this configuration. Confirm that four large-form-factor bays satisfy the capacity and redundancy plan before purchase.

The 1U CSE-819U chassis fits a standard 19-inch rack; front bezel and rack-mount rails are not included, so you must supply compatible sliding rails for the cabinet depth you use.
Open the top cover, seat each 12-core CPU into its LGA 2011-3 socket, then populate the 24 DIMM slots with registered ECC DDR4 2400 MHz modules; the step often missed is applying fresh thermal paste and torquing the heatsink retention screws in the correct diagonal sequence.
The MegaRAID 9361-8i controller cache battery, the two 750 W platinum power supplies, the four 3.5-inch drive trays, and the IPMI 2.0 / X540 firmware should all be monitored and replaced or updated as they age.
