9-Band Bluetooth Radio

The Supersonic SC-1080BT Silver is a portable radio covering AM, FM and seven shortwave bands for international listening. It adds Bluetooth streaming from any compatible device plus a built-in MP3 player that reads USB drives and Micro SD cards. A telescoping antenna and wrist strap make it ready for travel or outdoor use.

Upgrade From Basic AM/FM

This unit replaces a simple two-band radio by adding shortwave coverage and wireless streaming in one device. The jump is worth it when you want world-band reception and the option to play personal audio files without carrying a separate player. It also removes the need for disposable cells by including a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Check Your Power And Media

Verify you have a USB source or Micro SD card loaded with MP3 files if you plan to use the built-in player. Confirm the included 3.7V 600mAh BL-5C battery holds a charge or keep three UM-3 (AA) cells on hand for the 4.5V DC backup option. Ensure your Bluetooth source pairs with a standard Bluetooth receiver.
