Portable Radio for Listeners and Emergencies

The Supersonic SC-1097BT is a portable AM/FM/SW band receiver that also plays MP3 files from USB, SD or Micro SD cards. It suits listeners who want broadcast radio and personal audio files in one handheld device. A built-in torch adds utility during power cuts or outdoor trips.

Fits a Bag and Runs on Its Own Battery

The unit weighs 3.19 and carries a telescopic antenna for reception, so it needs no external aerial or mains lead while you move around. Bluetooth lets you stream from a phone or tablet, while the AUX input accepts other wired sources. The rechargeable battery powers the radio for about 2 hours and the torch for up to 10 hours before a recharge is needed.

Handles Broadcast Bands and Local Files

You can tune across AM, FM and shortwave bands and play MP3s loaded on removable media, giving a wide choice of content without an internet connection. The internal speaker delivers sound for personal or small-group listening. Battery life limits continuous radio use to roughly 2 hours, so extended sessions will require access to a charger.
