Questions about this item

How often will the batteries in the SC-1105 need replacing during daily use?

Battery life depends on listening volume and whether you use the built-in speaker or the earphone jack, so plan on fresh cells every few weeks with regular daily use.

What is the first limitation you notice when the SC-1105 plays continuously for hours?

The 0.38 kg chassis relies on a single telescopic antenna, so distant AM stations at 520-1600 KHz or FM signals at 76-108 MHz may fade before the electronics show any strain.

Does the SC-1105 get warm or make noise after running all day?

The analogue tuner and small speaker stay cool and silent during extended operation; only the LED tune indicator draws negligible power and produces no audible hum.
