Business projector 1080p 7800 lumens

The SUPERSONIC SC-282P is a Full HD 1080p business projector designed for presentations and media playback. It uses a single LED light source with a 4 LCD display panel to produce a native 1920 × 1080 image. Built-in Bluetooth allows wireless audio streaming to external speakers or headphones. The unit weighs 3.1 lbs and measures 9.11 x 7.16 x 3.93 inches.

Practical limits of LED and ANSI output

The projector lists 7800 lumens LED light output but delivers 300 ANSI lumens white light output, which determines perceived brightness in real rooms. A 1000:1 contrast ratio limits deep black performance in lit environments. Supported input resolutions include 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480p and 480i. Manual vertical keystone correction covers ±8° with no horizontal adjustment, so off-centre placement distorts geometry. Projection distance ranges from 1.2 to 4.48 meters for image sizes between 40 and 150 inches.

Installation ease and common issues

Three HDMI inputs, USB 2.0, Micro SD up to 1000GB, AV, 3.5mm jack, DC and Micro USB ports provide flexible connectivity. A 5W built-in speaker handles basic audio without external gear. Setup requires positioning within the 1.2 to 4.48 metre throw range and manual vertical keystone tuning. Common issues include insufficient brightness for well-lit rooms due to the 300 ANSI lumen rating, fixed horizontal alignment requiring centred placement, and 45dB fan noise audible in quiet meetings.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1080p model or a 720p version for the SC-282P?

The SC-282P has a native 1920 × 1080 resolution and supports 720p input, so the Full HD model gives you the sharpest image this projector can produce.

What does the 7800 lumen rating mean when I use it in a real room?

The 7800 lumen LED light output translates to 300 ANSI lumens white light output, suitable for dim rooms at up to 150 inch image size from 4.48 meters.

How does the Bluetooth connection limit the audio I can send to a speaker?

Bluetooth is output only for wireless audio to external speakers or headphones; it does not accept audio streams from phones or laptops.
