What this projector does

The SUPERSONIC SC-80P is a compact LCD home-theater projector with a native 800 x 480 resolution and a 5:3 aspect ratio. It produces an LED lamp output rated at 2000 lumens and a white light output of 35-40 lumens, projecting images from 37 to 150 inches. The unit measures 3.20 x 8.00 x 6.00 inches and weighs very little.

Check your source and space

You need a device with an HDMI output because the projector accepts 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576i, 480p and 480i signals through its two HDMI ports. VGA, USB 2.0, Micro SD and AV inputs are also available. The throw distance ranges from 1 to 5 metres, so verify your room can accommodate that range. Only vertical keystone correction of +/- 15 degrees is offered.

Included accessories and their impact

The box contains a manual, an AC power adapter covering 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz, a lens cover and a remote control. A DC power cable for 12 V, 3.5 A operation is not supplied. Two built-in stereo speakers provide audio without extra hardware. The LED lamp is rated for 50,000 hours, reducing the need for replacements. The quiet fan helps keep noise low during use.
