1080p 30fps Webcam with Headset

The Supersonic SC-942 is a Full HD webcam paired with a stereo headset for laptops and desktops. It captures 1920×1080 video at 30 frames per second using a 2 megapixel CMOS sensor and fixed 3.6 mm lens. The driverless DSP chip enables plug-and-play operation on Windows XP through 10 via USB 2.0 or 3.0.

For solo calls and basic streaming

Built-in omnidirectional microphones and a 70° wide-angle view suit single users at a desk. The 90° manual rotation helps frame the shot. Buyers who want a wider field of view, higher frame rates, or autofocus for moving subjects should look at something else.

Fixed 3.6 mm lens with 70° view

The fixed-focus lens and 70° angle set the working distance and framing for every call. If your setup needs a narrower or wider field of view, or variable focus for product demos, this specification makes the SC-942 the wrong choice.

Questions about this item

Does the SC-942 package include everything needed for video and audio, or must I buy a separate microphone or headset?

The box contains the 1080p webcam with built-in omni-directional microphones and a stereo headset with adjustable boom mic, in-line volume, mute and microphone-off controls, plus a user manual; no extra microphone or headset is required.

Should I choose the 1080p 30fps version or a higher frame-rate model for typical video calls?

This model delivers 1920×1080 at 30 frames per second, which matches the standard for most conferencing platforms; no higher-frame-rate variant of the SC-942 is listed.

What does the 70° wide-angle lens mean for my desk setup?

The fixed 3.6 mm lens captures a 70° field of view and the camera can be rotated manually up to 90°, letting you frame yourself and a small workspace without moving the monitor.
