Single-mode 10km fiber optic module for 4G network links
This Supersuperuncle transceiver is a new 4G single-mode fibre optic module rated for 10 km reach. It matches the Finisar FTLF1424P2BCD-E4/BCR/BCD part number for direct compatibility. The unit suits server and storage networks that require long-range fibre links.
The module upgrades links that currently run on shorter-distance or multi-mode transceivers when 10 km single-mode range is needed. It is not for networks using different wavelengths, data rates or connector types. The jump is worth it when existing cabling and switch ports support single-mode 4G operation.
