A single-mode optical module supporting 155M data rate over 40km at 1310nm wavelength
This 155M 40KM 1310NM SM ESFP single-mode optical module is designed for the WTD RTXM140-400 platform. It serves network engineers and data-centre operators who need a drop-in transceiver for long-reach fibre links. The unit arrives new and ready for immediate deployment in compatible server or switch chassis.
The module upgrades existing 155M connections that cannot span 40 kilometres, removing the need for intermediate repeaters. It is not suited for multimode fibre runs, higher-speed 140G or 400G lanes, or environments requiring CWDM or DWDM wavelength grids. Buyers needing greater bandwidth or different wavelength plans should select a separate part.

It fits a standard SFP cage that accepts single-mode transceivers rated for 40 km at 1310 nm.
The LC duplex connector on the module face; the TX port uses the 1310 nm wavelength so the matching patch cord must be single-mode.
