Compatible IBM server power supply

This 2000W unit replaces the IBM 39Y7359, 39Y7360, 74p4452, 74p4453 and 24r2711 power supplies. It fits the same server chassis and delivers the rated output for supported IBM systems. The part is supplied new and ready for installation.

Direct replacement for listed IBM part numbers

Use this supply when an original IBM unit fails or when a spare is required for the compatible models. The jump is worth it when the server must stay online and the exact part-number match is mandatory. It does not suit builds that need a different form factor or wattage.

Questions about this item

Does this 2000W unit use the standard IBM server form factor so it slides into the existing bay?

Yes, it is built to the same physical design as the IBM 39Y7359 and 39Y7360 units, so it fits the same server chassis bay without adapters.

What is the installation step that most people miss when swapping in this 2000W supply?

After sliding the unit home, you must press the release latch until it clicks; the supply will not power on until the latch fully engages.
