2360W Dell M1000E power supply

This 2360 watt server power supply is built for the Dell M1000E blade enclosure. It replaces Dell part numbers 7001333-J100 and Z2360P-00. The unit is new and intended for administrators maintaining or expanding existing M1000E infrastructure.

Capacity and headroom

The supply delivers 2360 watts to the shared backplane, supporting multiple blades and their workloads. Headroom depends on the number and configuration of installed blades; fully populated enclosures with high-density compute nodes will consume the full budget. It is not suited for enclosures requiring a higher rated output or for non-Dell chassis.

Questions about this item

Will the 2360W unit share load with existing 1000W supplies in my M1000E chassis?

The M1000E power subsystem balances current across all installed supplies, so a 2360W module will participate in load sharing with 1000W units already present.

How do I confirm the 2360W supply is operating correctly once seated in the M1000E?

The chassis management controller reports input voltage, output current and fault status for each bay; a green LED on the supply faceplate also indicates normal operation.
