250W Redundant Power Supply for Video Recorders

This Supersuperuncle unit is a direct replacement for the Delta DPS-250AB-81A module. It delivers 250 watts of power in a redundant form factor designed for continuous operation. The supply is built for video recorder systems that require hot-swap capability to maintain uptime during a module failure. Condition is new.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This module fits administrators maintaining compatible recorder chassis that accept the DPS-250AB-81A form factor. Buyers who need a different wattage output, a non-redundant desktop PSU, or a unit for a standard ATX case should look at other categories.

Questions about this item

Does this 250 W redundant power supply require a specific hot-swap backplane or chassis to operate?

It is built to the DPS-250AB-81A form factor and slides into a compatible redundant power-supply bay; the host system must provide the matching cage and power-distribution board.

Will the DPS-250AB-81A share load with an older non-redundant 250 W unit already installed in the same recorder?

No — redundant operation needs a matched pair of hot-swap modules in a supported chassis; mixing with a fixed supply prevents failover and load-sharing.
