Questions about this item

How do I install the FH-XD301MYR-1 300W power supply in my HP desktop, and which cable routing mistake should I avoid?

Remove the old unit, slide the FH-XD301MYR-1 into the chassis, secure the four mounting screws, then connect the 24-pin ATX and 4-pin CPU cables; route them behind the motherboard tray so they do not block the intake fan.

What maintenance will the FH-XD301MYR-1 300W supply need, and when should I plan a replacement?

Blow dust from the fan grill every six months with compressed air; if the fan becomes noisy or the system restarts under load, replace the unit — typical service life is five to seven years in a clean office environment.
