400W replacement for Dell PowerEdge R300

This unit is a brand-new 400 watt server power supply built to fit the Dell PowerEdge R300 chassis. It carries the CX357 designation and matches the original 300 series form factor. System administrators maintaining legacy Dell rack servers will find it a direct swap.

Verify Dell part number and chassis compatibility

Confirm the server is a PowerEdge R300 and that the existing supply is the 300 series CX357 before ordering. This supply will not fit other Dell models or standard ATX cases. Buyers needing redundant power modules or higher wattage for upgraded components should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the Supersuperuncle CX357 power supply include cables or mounting hardware for the Dell PE R300?

The unit is supplied as the power supply module only; Dell PE R300 systems use internal backplane connections so no separate cables are required for installation.

Should I choose the 300 W or 400 W version of the CX357 for my Dell PE R300?

The listed model is the 400 W CX357; select this version when your PE R300 configuration needs the higher 400 W capacity rather than the lower 300 W alternative.
