For DELL MD1000 and MD3000 storage cabinets

This 488W power supply replaces the MX838 unit in DELL MD1000 and MD3000 server storage cabinets. It is built for system administrators maintaining these specific enclosures. The part restores redundant power capability when an original module fails.

Matching the MX838 part number

Compatibility is limited to the DELL MD1000 and MD3000 cabinets that originally used the MX838 supply. Builders working with other storage arrays or server chassis cannot use this module. Buyers who need a different wattage or form factor must source the correct part for their hardware.
