585W Server Power Supply for IBM DS3500 and DS3512

This new 585W server power supply replaces the IBM units identified by part numbers 69Y0200, 00W1521 and 00W1182. It is built for the DS3500 and DS3512 storage arrays. Buyers who need a different form factor or a higher wattage rating for another platform cannot use this unit.

Sustained load behaviour in DS3500 and DS3512 arrays

The supply delivers its rated 585W continuously while the storage controllers and drive trays operate under steady demand. It maintains stable output during extended rebuilds or heavy I/O without the thermal throttling that can occur in short-burst designs. Systems requiring redundant hot-swap modules should verify bay compatibility before installation.
