SKU CH-XKP1-JQHZM

Redundant server power supply delivering 710W or 1010W for continuous uptime

  • Redundant design keeps servers running during a module failure
  • 710 W and 1010 W options match different chassis power budgets
  • Hot-swap modules allow replacement without system downtime
  • Compatible with PWS-771-1R and PWS-1K11P-1R part numbers

Redundant Server Power Supply

This unit replaces the PWS-771-1R 710W and PWS-1K11P-1R 1010W modules in compatible server chassis. It delivers hot-swap redundancy for continuous uptime in rack environments. The design targets system integrators and IT teams maintaining existing infrastructure.

Dual-Capacity Compatibility

The supply fits bays rated for either 710W or 1010W original parts, identified by the 771 and 1010 model numbers. Installers must verify the specific chassis part number before ordering. It is not suited for non-redundant desktop or workstation builds.

Questions about this item

What does the 710W rating mean when the unit is installed in a live server?

The 710W figure is the maximum continuous power the module can deliver to the system while sharing the load with a second identical module in a redundant pair.

What connector standard does the PWS-771-1R use and what does it limit in practice?

The module uses the industry-standard redundant PSU form factor that keys into a matching hot-swap backplane, limiting installation to chassis designed for that same 11 mm blade pitch.
