Compatible replacement for Super Micro PWS-920P-1R

This 920W redundant power module fits Super Micro PWS-920P-1R bays and delivers 920W output for server deployments. It is built for administrators who need a direct swap-in unit without chassis modifications. The Dawning I840-G25 designation identifies the specific form factor and pin layout.

Redundant design shares load across modules

Redundant architecture allows the module to share load with a second unit, reducing thermal stress on each supply during normal operation. Hot-swap capability lets technicians replace a failed module without powering down the server. Efficiency at typical loads keeps power draw and acoustic output lower than non-redundant equivalents.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 920W redundant module into a Super Micro PWS-920P-1R chassis?

Slide the module into the hot-swap bay until the latch clicks; the step often missed is fully seating the AC inlet before tightening the retention screw.

The internal cooling fan and electrolytic capacitors are the primary wear items; plan to swap the fan every few years and the caps if ripple increases.
