  • New condition ensures full operational life
  • Single unit supplied for direct replacement

Compatible Dell server power supply

This 460 W unit replaces the AC460AM-01 in supported Dell Power systems. It matches the original part numbers DGX9R, 6GPR9, WY7XX, HMCPC, 6GXM0 and 7YC7C for direct substitution. The supply is new and ready for installation in compatible Dell server chassis.

Fits Dell server bays

The module slides into the standard power-supply bay of qualified Dell servers without adapters. It delivers 460 W to the system board, freeing the builder from sourcing discontinued OEM units. Buyers needing higher wattage or a different form factor should verify their chassis specifications before ordering.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum continuous power the AC460AM-01 can deliver before protection triggers?

The unit is rated for 460 W continuous output; sustained loads above that level will activate over-power protection and shut the supply down.

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when the supply runs at full load all day?

At 460 W the supply exhausts warm air through its rear fan; the fan speed ramps with temperature, so extended full-load operation produces audible airflow and noticeable case warming.
