850W ATX 12V server power supply

This unit delivers 850 watts of continuous power through a standard ATX 12V form factor designed for server chassis. It carries an 80plus Gold efficiency rating to reduce waste heat and operating cost. The fully modular cabling lets administrators route only the cables required by the build. It is intended for rack or tower servers needing reliable single-rail 12 volt delivery.

Practical limits of the ATX 12V interface

The ATX 12V connector system caps each 12 volt rail at the specification limit, so very high current devices may need multiple connectors. Cable lengths are fixed by the harness and may not reach every drive bay in deep rack enclosures. The 80plus Gold mark guarantees efficiency at defined loads but does not promise silent operation under maximum thermal stress. Builders who need redundant hot-swap modules or higher single-rail current than the connector allows should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 850W version or a lower-wattage unit?

Choose the 850W model when your build needs up to 850 watts of continuous power; a smaller unit would limit headroom for high-end GPUs and multiple drives.

What does the 80plus Gold rating deliver in daily use?

The Gold rating means the supply runs at high efficiency across typical loads, so less power is wasted as heat and the fan stays quieter.
