400W CRPS server power supply

The Supersuperuncle M1S-3400V is a 400 watt CRPS form-factor unit built for rackmount server chassis. It delivers standard AC-to-DC conversion for enterprise backplanes that accept this common redundant pinout. The unit is supplied new and targets integrators populating hot-swap bays in 1U or 2U platforms.

Sustained load behaviour

The switching design maintains its 400 watt rating across continuous operation inside ventilated server enclosures. Thermal management relies on the chassis airflow rather than an internal fan curve optimised for burst loads. Buyers needing higher density per bay or non-CRPS mechanical mounting should evaluate alternative form factors.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the CRPS 400W M1S-3400V produce when running continuously?

The 400 W rating indicates the maximum power it can draw from the wall, so sustained heat output will approach that level under full load.

What server chassis or backplane is required to install the CRPS 400W M1S-3400V?

This supply uses the CRPS form factor, so it needs a compatible CRPS bay and matching power-distribution board in the server.
