Compatible Dell OptiPlex 980 MT replacement

This power supply is built for the Dell OptiPlex 980 MT desktop. It matches the L255EM-01, K340R, F255E-00 and 9RD1W part numbers. The unit fits the proprietary mounting and connector layout used in that chassis. Buyers with other Dell models or standard ATX cases cannot use it.

Proprietary Dell interface limits reuse

The connector pinout and mechanical keying follow Dell’s own specification for the OptiPlex 980 MT. Standard 24-pin ATX motherboards will not accept the plug without an adapter cable. The form factor prevents installation in generic server racks or workstation enclosures. Builders needing a standard ATX supply must choose a different unit.
