Server PSU for video recorders

This 250 W server power supply is designed for video recorder monitoring systems. It suits installers and integrators who need a direct replacement unit for compatible recorder chassis. The unit delivers 50 A on one rail and 60 A on another.

Practical limits of the standard

The fixed output currents of 50 A and 60 A define the maximum load the supply can sustain. Builds that demand higher amperage on either rail will exceed the unit's rating. No modular cabling or alternative voltage options are provided.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 50 AU or the 60 GNV version for my recorder?

The 50 AU and 60 GNV are different model codes; match the code printed on your existing unit to ensure the connector layout and voltage rails are identical.

What does the 250 rating mean when the supply is installed in a recorder?

The 250 figure is the maximum continuous output in watts; your recorder will draw only what it needs up to that limit, so the unit runs cooler at typical loads.
